Before joining Sequel, Andy worked for 26 years in the Insurance division of Moore Stephens LLP. There he established the Firm’s IT consulting division, and co-founded Moore Stephens Consulting Ltd which became one of the leading technology providers to the London Insurance market. Now re-branded as Sequel Rulebook Ltd, Andy is focussed on leading the integration of the Rulebook suite of products into the wider Sequel portfolio.
Andy recognises the importance of niche software solutions, and being best of breed in what you do. “Our software has never tried to be all things to all men, it has always been targeted at a specific business problem and is designed solely to address that problem. We believe that true innovation can only occur when you are 100% focussed on your core objective”
This belief is evidenced both with the introduction of some of the first comprehensive data analytics and business intelligence offerings to the insurance market in the early 2000’s and more recently the launch of the market leading Rulebook software to the commercial pricing and rating space.
